Physical Description: 52 p. of textual records
Location: Cape Breton Regional Library - McLennan Collection
Scope and Content:
Item is a typed partial-transcription of Katharine McLennan's diaries from 1909-1952. Entries focus on important moments in Katharine's life, including her time spent in Europe as a girl and young adult, her trip west by car in 1927, and her work for both the Red Cross blood donor clinic and the Louisbourg Museum. The diary entries demonstrate how full and active her life was, and how involved she was in her community projects. The original copies of the diaries were burned by Katharine after she made these transcriptions.
