Louise was a founding member of the Sydney Painters Club, an artist association founded in 1908. The group consisted of Louise Bradley McLennan, Hetty D. Kimber, Margaret Brown, Elizabeth Brown, Lillian Brown, Helen Jones and Margaret Nicholson. Katharine McLennan, Ruth Wainwright, and Gladys Redmayne Thorne. Henrietta Clarke joined the Club at a later date.
