Scope and Content: 
Item is a photograph of the unveiling of a cairn at the Fortress of Louisbourg site prior to reconstruction. The cairn was removed prior to 1962 in order to allow for the reconstruction of the King's Bastion.

Notes: Item was included in a scrapbook that was compiled by Katharine McLennan, who donated the scrapbook to the Cape Breton Regional Library.
