Item is a photograph of Dr. Wilfred Thomason Grenfell and his wife Anne taken at Yorkfields during their visit to Petersfield in 1909. Katharine was very fond of Dr. Grenfell and he inspired in her a sense of community service, a feeling that the well-off should contribute something back to the community. This dedication to service would grow during World War I and later, as she contributed to work in her community for worthy causes.
